Ai-Lyn Tang has a wealth of work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Ai-Lyn began their career as an Offshore Facilities Surveillance Engineer at ExxonMobil in 2006. In 2008, they joined A.T. Kearney as a Senior Business Analyst, where they produced an innovative social ROI model for a not-for-profit client. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Pricing & Experimentation Analyst at eBay and as an Associate at Teach For Australia. Ai-Lyn then became an Independent Management Consultant in 2012. In 2014, they joined Envato as a Strategy Specialist, where they led a core strategic project and influenced the senior leadership team to sponsor a new customer segmentation framework. Ai-Lyn also joined Deutsche Schule Melbourne as a Board Member in 2015. In the same year, they took on two roles at Outware Mobile, General Manager - NSW and Head of Strategy. Ai-Lyn then joined Arq Group as a Strategic Advisor to the CEO in 2019, where they spearhead a long term strategic review of the business. Finally, they currently work as an iOS Developer at Empower since 2019.

Ai-Lyn Tang attended the University of Melbourne from 2002 to 2007, earning a Bachelor Arts / Bachelor Engineering in French and Electrical Engineering. Ai-Lyn also attended Grenoble INP - UGA from 2004 to 2005, earning a Bachelor Arts / Bachelor Engineering in French and Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
