Vincent Sebastian Carandang

Vincent Sebastian Carandang has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Vincent Sebastian is currently working as the Lead Investment Reporting Analyst at Empower since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Financial Analyst at the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance from July 2018 to March 2022.

Before joining the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance, Vincent held the position of Operations and Accounting Manager at NLC Solid Waste Management Services in the Philippines from 2012 to March 2022. Vincent Sebastian also worked as an Operations and Accounting Manager at InovAgro Solutions Inc. from 2009 to 2012.

Vincent's earliest work experience was as a Financial Analyst at the Department of Finance, Government of the Republic of the Philippines, where they were involved in analyzing privatization proposals, creating financial models for valuation purposes, performing due diligence, and analyzing the financial performances of government companies. During their tenure, they accomplished notable sales and transactions of various government assets in industries such as Mining, Telecommunication, Banking, and Real Estate.

Vincent Sebastian Carandang completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and Management, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Business/Management at North Central College from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their undergraduate education, they obtained the certification of Associate Professional Insurance Regulator from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) in December 2019. Furthermore, Vincent successfully passed the Civil Service Examination for Accounting, granted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Civil Service Commission, in December 2017.
