Luis Schmidt

Luis Schmidt is an experienced professional in operational excellence, currently serving as the Operational Excellence Manager at CMPC since August 2019. Previously, Luis held various roles at McKinsey & Company from September 2015 to August 2019, focusing on lean management across multiple industries. At TNT from October 2010 to August 2015, Luis advanced through several positions, including International Operations Manager, where responsibilities included improving logistics processes across eight South American countries, and Engineering and Process Excellence Manager, leading a significant redesign project at the domestic operations hub in Santiago. Luis's educational background includes a Six Sigma Black Belt from the Kaizen Institute, a Master's degree in Operational Research from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and an Engineer's degree in Industrial Engineering from the same institution.
