Erin Bloom

Erin Bloom has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2014 as an Engineering Cadet at American Seafoods. In 2016, they joined the Military Sealift Command as a Surface Rescue Swimmer and Third Assistant Engineer, where they worked until 2019. During this time, Erin also served as a Lead Tutor at the California Maritime Academy from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Erin is employed as a Marine Engineer at Emprise Corporation since 2019.

Erin Bloom completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University Maritime Academy from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications, including Certified Infrared Thermographer Level I from Infraspection Institute in June 2021, Train-the-Trainer from Wilmington University in September 2019, Engine Room Resource Management from Maersk Training in June 2016, Certified Vibration Analyst - Category I from Technical Associates of Charlotte in September 2021, Level I Machine Lubricant Analyst (MLA) from International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML) in May 2021, Backfit Reliability-Centered Maintenance from Defence Acquisition University in March 2019, Classic Reliability-Centered Maintenance from Defence Acquisition University in February 2019, 3rd Assistant Engineer from the U.S. Coast Guard in April 2016, High Voltage Safety from OCS Group in July 2016. Erin has additional certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid, and Universal Refrigeration Technician, but the specific obtained months and years are not provided for these certifications.
