Robert McManus has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Robert started their career in 1980 as an Engineering Trainee at Crowley Maritime. Robert then joined the Military Sealift Command in 1980 as an Engineering Officer and held various roles, including Chief Engineer and 1st Assistant Engineer-Commissioning Crew. From 1992 to 1994, Robert worked as an MSC Exchange Officer at the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, where they supported the commissioning of AOR ships and developed maintenance and repair specifications. Robert returned to the Military Sealift Command in 1994 and had roles such as COMSC Port Chief Engineer and Chief Engineer.
