Camille Cruz

Camille Cruz is the Technical Sales Leader at Emrgy. Prior to that, they were the Senior Operations Manager for the Energy Generation and Storage Technology Group at ASME from June 2018 to March 2021. In that role, Camille collaborated and coordinated with hundreds of international energy subject matter experts to create content via multiple media and forums, including webinars, conferences, and technical publications. Camille also developed, executed, and implemented strategic plans with Group Leadership and Divisional Executive Committees.

In addition, Camille led operations and activities year-round for all energy generation and storage teams. This included preparing annual operating budgets, overseeing spending, and executing business plans. Camille also managed clean energy and power events as well as networked with leaders in the energy industry to ensure partnerships for future ASME developments in public policy, codes and standards, and learning and development.

Finally, Camille developed and led a project for conference management and publication tool that replaced outdated software and decreased expenditure and maintenance time by 45%. This ensured that Group activities and operations aligned with ASME strategy and policies as well as meet volunteer and customer needs. Camille also provided marketing support to our energy generation and storage products to increase customer participation.

Camille Cruz has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same school. Camille also has certification from the APM Association of Project Management in APM Project Management Qualification, and certification from Coursera Course Certificates, UC Irvine Extension in Introduction to Project Management Principles and Practices Specialization. Finally, they have a Professional Licensing from the Georgia Secretary of State in EIT, Engineer in Training.
