Tami Koroye has a diverse range of work experience in fields such as academia, policy, law, and the blockchain industry. Tami has worked as an Associate Lecturer and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Bradford. Additionally, they served as a Student Ambassador and Secretary for the Nigerian Students Association, as well as the General Coordinator for the PG International Conference Organising Committee. Tami has also worked as a Legal Associate and Researcher at NOMUW, where they conducted legal research. Tami is currently a Free Trade Fellow at Ominira Initiative, where they conduct extensive research, publishes articles, and participates as a speaker in webinars. Tami has also been a Policy and Product Associate at EMTECH, delivering market research and providing advisory services to regulatory clients. In their role as a Community Ambassador at Oort|The Web3 Data Cloud, they represent the company at events, organizes meet-ups, and manages online communities. Furthermore, they have been a Deputy Team Lead at The Policy Roundtable, organizing policy discussions and conducting research. In their previous role as an Editor and Community Manager at The Continental Approach, they conducted research, managed a community of Africans in the cryptocurrency industry, and organized events. Tami began their career as a Legal Associate at The Firma Advisory, where they worked on corporate law, fintech, IT teams, as well as dispute resolution and provided advice on funding and compliance for crypto start-ups.

Tami Koroye has an extensive education history. Tami obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Central Bank Digital Currencies, Cryptocurrencies, and Financial Regulations from the University of Bradford, where they studied from 2021 to 2024. Prior to this, they completed their Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International Commercial Law at the same university, studying from 2019 to 2020.

Before attending the University of Bradford, Tami studied at the University of Benin from 2011 to 2016. Here, they obtained their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree, specializing in International Law and Legal Studies. It is worth noting that during their time at the University of Benin, they pursued a second Bachelor of Laws degree, but the field of study for this degree is not specified.

Tami's educational journey also includes attending the Nigerian Law School in Abuja, where they acquired a BL (Barrister at Law) degree in law. Unfortunately, the specific years of enrollment and completion for this degree are not provided.
