Ernie Ansah

Ernie Ansah is the Senior Director of Quality Management at Emulate. Ernie has over 20 years of experience in quality assurance and compliance, with a focus on the medical device industry. Prior to joining Emulate, Ernie was the Director of Quality Systems at Haemonetics, where they oversaw programs within the areas of the Global QMS; CAPA, Post Market Surveillance, Document Control, Training & Labeling. Ernie also chaired the Global CAPA Review Board and Quality Metrics performance reviews.

Before Haemonetics, Ernie was the Manager of Quality Systems and Post Market Surveillance at Codman Neurosurgery. In this role, they were responsible for managing Quality System and Post Market Surveillance activities for the Codman Franchise. Ernie also drove safety-signal detection for Neurosurgery and Neurovascular products, executed CAPA Review Board and Non Conformance Review Processes, and reported on and improved Quality Metric performance. Additionally, Ernie facilitated the implementation of J&J Enterprise Corporate standards within the Codman Quality System.

Ernie began their career in quality assurance at Waters Corporation, where they served as the Manager of Clinical Quality Assurance for four years. Ernie has a deep understanding of quality management systems and how to ensure compliance with domestic and international regulatory requirements. Under Ernie’s leadership, Emulate’s quality management system is world-class, and they are committed to continuously improving the company’s processes and products.

Ernie Ansah received a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

They are on a team with Lorna Ewart - Chief Scientific officer, Larry Weiss - Chief Legal Officer, and Stacy Perro - VP, People. Ernie Ansah reports to Jim Corbett, CEO & Board Member.
