Brandy Starks, MBA, MSHS, CDE®, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Brandy'smost recent position is as the Co-Founder and Board Member of the Adam and Brandy Starks Family Foundation, starting in 2023. Brandy is also the Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategy, as well as the Director of Proposals and Budgets at EmVenio Research.

In 2022, Brandy co-founded the CARE (Coalition for Advancing Research Equity). Prior to that, they founded and served as the President of the Clinical Trials in Color Foundation from 2018 to 2023.

Brandy's experience in the healthcare industry includes roles at Science 37, where they worked as the Director of Strategic Pricing and Associate Director of Strategic Pricing from 2019 to 2023. Brandy also served as a Budget Analyst and a Clinical Research Manager at the organization.

Before that, they worked at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as a Clinical Research Supervisor for Advanced Heart Disease from 2013 to 2017, where they managed research administration and project management functions. Brandy also worked as a Regulatory Affairs Associate at Cedars-Sinai from 2010 to 2013.

Additionally, they have experience at PPD as a Senior Study Start Up Specialist and Study Start Up Specialist from 2008 to 2010. Brandy's earlier roles include working as a Clinical Research Manager and Clinical Research Coordinator at Virginia Eye Consultants from 2007 to 2008.

Brandy Starks, MBA, MSHS, CDE®, has an extensive education history that spans across various fields of study. In 2000, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biological Sciences at Dillard University. Following this, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, which they obtained in 2013.

In 2008, Brandy Starks enrolled at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where they pursued a Master of Science in Health Sciences (MSHS) degree with a specialization in Clinical Research Administration, which they successfully completed in 2009. Additionally, in 2011, they obtained the Certified Clinical Research Professional certification from the Society for Clinical Research Associates.

Brandy'spursuit of knowledge did not stop there. In 2020, they obtained a certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship from Cornell University, which further added to their skill set. In December 2022, Brandy Starks acquired the Certified Diversity Executive (CDE) certification from the Institute for Diversity Certification, showcasing their commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.
