Tuan Nguyen

Tuan Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Tuan currently holds the position of EMW Project Manager, starting in December 2021. Prior to this, Tuan served as the President & CEO of Eminent Solutions, Inc. from 2005 to the present. In this role, they provided leadership and guidance for the organization's goals and objectives, with a focus on Project Management, Cyber Security, and Configuration Management of DoD Military Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and NATO Cyber security systems. Within Eminent Solutions, Tuan also served as a Deputy Project Manager for the NATO Computer Incident Response Capability (NCIRC) FOC (February 2016 - March 2017) in Brussels, Belgium, and as a Project Manager for the Healthcare Artifact and Image Management Solution (HAIMS) (December 2014 - January 2016) in Falls Church, VA.

Before their role at Eminent Solutions, Tuan served as a First Sergeant in the Army National Guard from June 1991 to the present, where they were responsible for training, administration, professional development, and mentoring of assigned soldiers in the 133rd Cyber Security Company. Tuan also gained experience as the Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) NCOIC at the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade (Cyber) from December 2020 to December 2021 and as the Current Operations NCOIC for the Kodiak Cyber Operations Team (KCOT) at the U.S. Army Cyber Command from April 2017 to April 2018.

Tuan's work experience also includes being the NCOIC of the Army Web Risk Assessment Cell (AWRAC) in the US Army from July 2013 to August 2014, the Director of Program Management and Quality Assurance at EMW from May 2005 to November 2005, a Network Administrator at TEKsystems from November 1997 to October 1998, and a Help Desk Specialist at AAMC in 1997.

Throughout their career, Tuan has built a strong background in project management, cyber security, and configuration management. Tuan has experience in managing the acquisition and deployment of IT solutions, leading teams, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and cyber security protocols.

Tuan Nguyen's education history starts with him obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management of Secure Information Systems (Cyber Security) from the George Mason University - School of Business.

Prior to their master's degree, Tuan Nguyen earned a Bachelor's degree from George Mason University, majoring in Information Technology Operations.

Furthermore, Tuan Nguyen completed their Associate of Science (AS) degree in Information Technology from Northern Virginia Community College.

Besides their formal education, Tuan Nguyen has obtained several certifications. In 2002, they received the Security+ and Network+ certifications from CompTIA. Tuan then went on to obtain the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in 2008. In 2009, Tuan Nguyen became a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker certification from EC-Council in 2011. In 2012, Tuan Nguyen earned the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification, and finally, in 2013, they became a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) certified by Microsoft.
