Amy Duncan has been working in the dental industry since 2003. Amy started their career at North Point Dental Associates as a Lead Dental Assistant and Hygiene Coordinator, where they assisted in treatment, charting, Zoom whitening, tensing for orthotic fabrication, trained new hires for back office, and maintained OSHA and MSDS. In 2003, they also began working at the Georgia Academy of Dental Learning as the Director of Education and Development, where they developed the program and curriculum and petitioned the State of Georgia for educational licensure. In 2009, they became the Office Manager for Wake Forest Smiles, where they set and monitored production goals of two dentists and three hygienists, managed expenses and financial objectives, and handled A/P & A/R. In 2012, they worked as an Interim Office Manager for Dynamic Dental Partners, where they converted the practice from Eaglesoft to Dentrix Enterprise software and audited prior accounting practices. Since 2016, they have been with E-CARE DENTISTRY, P.A. as the Business Manager, where they were initially hired as the Insurance Coordinator and transitioned to Office Manager and then Business Manager in 2020. Her responsibilities include but are not limited to A/R, purchasing control, insurance claims management, appeals, provider credentialing, insurance contracting / negotiations, provider relations, auditing, payroll, human resources and staff development. In 2021, they began working at Enable Dental as the Director of Revenue Cycle, Revenue Cycle & Process Improvement Manager, and Insurance Contracting Specialist.
Amy Duncan attended Polk State College from 1995 to 1999, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) in Mass Communication / Public Relations. Amy then attended Kennesaw State University from 2002 to 2005, studying Organizational Communication.
