Peter Chou

Scientist at Enable Medicine

Peter Chou is a scientist at Enable Medicine since October 2022 and a graduate student researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine since July 2016. With a PhD in Biochemistry from Stanford, Peter is focused on developing imaging pipelines that connect single-cell RNA sequencing datasets with spatial cell type annotations in tissues, utilizing techniques such as hydrogel embedding and 3D RNA fluorescence in situ hybridization. Prior experience includes working as a research assistant at Harvard Medical School, where Peter engineered fluorescent biosensors, and conducting undergraduate research at UC Berkeley on neurotoxins and seizure susceptibility in Drosophila. Additional roles included laboratory assistant positions and educational support in various capacities across UC Berkeley and recreational sports.
