María Teresa Nonay Domingo has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. María Teresa started their career in 2002 as a Gas Turbine Engineer at Alstom Power. María Teresa then worked as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at the Castejon Combined Cycle Power Plant. In 2005, they joined Repsol and held roles such as Senior Analyst-Global Energy and Manager of the Energy Group in the Economic Research Department. In 2009, they became a Member of the World Energy Council Scenarios Study Group at WEC. Since 2018, María has been working at Enagás, where they have held positions such as Deputy Director of Strategy and Deputy Director of Enagás International. Currently, they serve as the Director of Strategy and Planning at Enagás.
María Teresa Nonay Domingo has an education history that includes various degrees and fields of study. In 1996, they completed their degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Energy and Technology of Heat and Fluids at Centro Politécnico Superior Universidad de Zaragoza. From 2001 to 2002, they studied Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Energy and Technology of Heat and Fluids at the University of Technology of Compiègne in France. In 2004, they pursued a Master's degree in Energy MBA at IESE Business School. In 2017, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a custom program on managing and profiting from the low-carbon transition.
