Yuliia Holota 🇺🇦

Yuliia Holota has a diverse work experience that spans various fields. Yuliia currently holds the position of Senior Manager, Preclinical Pharmacology at Enamine Ltd., where they have been working since January 2021. Prior to this role, they served as an R&D Project Manager at the same company, starting in November 2017.

Alongside their professional endeavors, Yuliia also dedicates their free time to tutoring high school students in Biology and Chemistry. Yuliia has been involved in tutoring since October 2012, offering their experience and knowledge to help students enter university and further develop their academic studies.

Yuliia's educational journey includes a role as a PhD student at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Yuliia conducted research on the long-term consequences of antibiotic therapy, specifically focusing on the role of colonic short-chain fatty acids (SCFA) and intestinal barrier integrity in causing intestinal inflammation and metabolic disturbance. Their time as a PhD student spanned from December 2014 to November 2017.

Prior to their doctoral studies, Yuliia served as a Senior Laboratory Assistant at the Zabolotny Institute of Microbiology and Virology in the Laboratory of Biological Polymer Compounds. Yuliia held this position from December 2014 to January 2016.

In addition to their other roles, Yuliia also worked at Arterium as a QC Microbiologist from July 2013 to December 2014.

Yuliia started their education at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology, which they completed between 2008 and 2012. Following that, they pursued their Master's degree in Microbiology and Immunology at the same university from 2012 to 2014. After that, they continued their academic journey and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv between 2014 and 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Yuliia Holota has also obtained additional certifications. In December 2022, they completed the "Leadership and Management in Crisis Environment" program from UCU Business School (LvBS). Yuliia also obtained the "GOOD CLINICAL PRACTICE" certification from the NIDA Clinical Trials Network in April 2022.
