Annie Conery has extensive work experience in the field of clinical research and translational medicine. Annie currently holds the position of Director, Clinical Research Scientist at Enanta Pharmaceuticals since January 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Associate Director, Clinical Research Scientist at the same company from August 2019 to December 2021. Before joining Enanta Pharmaceuticals, Annie worked at Massachusetts General Hospital from July 2005 to August 2019. During their time there, they held various roles including Clinical Development Project Leader, Translational Medicine Group and Screening Facility Director. In these positions, they managed research collaborations, evaluated new screening methods and technologies, and coordinated efforts for large-scale chemical screens and RNAi screens. Annie also served as a Research Associate in the Laboratory of Dr. Gary Ruvkun, Department of Molecular Biology at Massachusetts General Hospital. Annie'sresearch focused on studying small RNA-mediated gene regulation in C. elegans.
Annie Conery completed their education at two prestigious institutions. From 1995 to 1999, they attended Pomona College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Biology. Later, from 1999 to 2005, they pursued further academic studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a Ph.D. degree in Molecular and Cell Biology.
