Jan Justus Schmidt

Co-Founder, Managing Director at Enapter

Jan-Justus Schmidt has held multiple positions in the energy industry. In 2017, they became the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Enapter, a company providing the building blocks for the future of energy with a scalable, flexible and low-cost anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolyser for onsite hydrogen generation. In 2016, they founded and became the Director of BluGreen Energy, a project focused on designing clean energy systems using hydrogen energy storage. Prior to that, in 2014, they were the Project Lead for Energy, Storage and Automation Systems at CNX Construction, where they were responsible for the energy system at the Phi Suea House project in Chiang Mai, the world's first fully renewable powered self-recharging hydrogen energy storage system for a multi-house compound.

Jan-Justus Schmidt obtained their High School Diploma with Honours from Chiang Mai International School in 2008. Jan-Justus then completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Sheffield in 2012. In 2014, they obtained a Certified KNX Partner from the KNX Association. Jan-Justus also attended the Mandarin Training Centre at National Taiwan Normal University between 2010 and 2014. Finally, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from HKUST Business School in 2018.
