Philip Hainbach has a long history of work experience. Philip began their career as a Law Clerk at Clearingstelle EEG in 2011. In 2016, they moved to the World Trade Organization, where they worked as an intern in the Legal Affairs Division. In 2020, Philip began working at Enapter, where they held the roles of Chief Governance Officer (CGO) and Head of Energy Policy & Government Affairs. Also in 2020, they joined the European Commission (European Clean Hydrogen Alliance) as a Member of the Hydrogen Production Roundtable. In 2021, they were elected as a Board Member of the Landesverband Erneuerbare Energien NRW e.V., where they are acting as an assessor for hydrogen.
Philip Hainbach has a diverse educational background. Philip completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from FernUniversität in Hagen from 2009 to 2014. Philip then went on to obtain a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Amsterdam in International and European Law / International Trade and Investment Law from 2014 to 2015. Philip also completed a Summer Academy Diploma from the World Trade Institute of the University of Bern, Switzerland in New Frontiers in International Trade and Investment Governance and Policy in 2015. Additionally, they obtained a Special Certificate in the International Economic Law and Policy Program (IELPO LL.M.) from Universitat de Barcelona in 2016. Finally, they are currently pursuing a Doktor (Ph.D.) in International Economic Law from the University of Melbourne, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
