Jonathon Dines

Jonathon joined Enara Bio in March 2020, bringing experience across research and development, finance and investment in the biotech sector.

Originally trained as a medicinal chemist, Jon worked as a Senior Scientist at Evotec, generating multiple patents and publications in the field of inflammation. In 2011, Jon moved into a finance role, joining PwC’s financial services division, where he qualified as a chartered accountant. He then worked as a transaction diligence analyst at Monitor, the UK healthcare sector regulator, before moving into the biotech venture capital sector with SV Health Investors. Jon performed a range of roles at SV, supporting creation of, and performing non-executive roles for several UK biotech start-ups, and as Head of Finance for the £250m Dementia Discovery Fund.

Jon holds an MSc in Biochemistry and Biological Chemistry from the University of Nottingham, a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from University College London and is a Chartered Accountant (ACA).
