The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll for employees in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll software and be able to work independently. The Payroll Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Your day will consist of:
- Process payroll for employees in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
- Assist with year-end payroll processing
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed
- Reconcile all payroll related ledger accounts
Here is what it takes to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing
- Experience with payroll software
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
