Tom Carbone

Tom Carbone serves as Vice President of Power Business Development at Enbridge, Inc., where responsibilities include leading the development of utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects. Carbone held the position of President at Tri Global Energy from 2011 to 2022, focusing on renewable energy projects with a community-centric approach. Prior to that, Carbone was CEO of Nordic Windpower, creating innovative two-bladed wind turbines, and Managing Partner at Reliablenergy LLC, providing consultancy services in the renewable energy sector. Carbone also served as President and CEO at Vestas Americas, significantly increasing wind power system orders, and revitalized Wartsila North America as President and CEO, achieving a substantial growth in annual sales. An early career at Bombardier Transportation involved managing large combustion engine manufacturing. Carbone holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
