Andrew Bies

Andrew Bies has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Andrew began their career as a Soldier in the Wisconsin Army National Guard from 2000 to 2006. Following this, they worked as an Auditor at Deloitte from 2006 to 2008. Andrew then joined Kimberly-Clark as an Internal Auditor from 2008 to 2010, and later transitioned to the role of Financial Analyst from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2015, Andrew worked at Appvion, Inc. as a Financial Reporting Analyst and subsequently as a Corporate Accounting Manager. Since 2015, Andrew has been at Encapsys, where they held the positions of Controller and currently serves as the Director of Finance, overseeing accounting, finance, and information technology teams. In these roles, they have focused on areas such as board reporting, corporate consolidation, internal control and GAAP compliance, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and continuous improvement.

Andrew Bies completed their education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Andrew earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from 2001 to 2005. Subsequently, they pursued a Masters of Professional Accountancy from 2005 to 2006 at the same institution. In terms of certifications, they became a Certified Public Accountant in January 2008, certified by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. Furthermore, they obtained the certification of Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate in August 2020 from Microsoft.
