Dave Davidson

Dave Davidson is the current CTO at Encapture. Dave has held previous positions as a software development manager at Nokia and a development manager at epicRealm. Dave Davidson has led and managed teams of architects, developers, and DBAs. Dave is responsible for conducting requirements analysis, buy vs. build analysis, gap analysis, cost/benefit analysis as well as architecting and managing multiple B2E, B2B, and B2C J2EE, Database, and ASP.NET projects often involving divergent technologies and strategies. Dave has also been responsible for planning and managing projects with budgets ranging from less than $1MM to in excess of $8MM. Dave Davidson is a co-designer of 3 patented technologies in the areas of dynamic cache expiration via external sources, HTTP traffic prioritization, and global load balancing DNS for reverse proxy applications.

Dave Davidson's educational career includes a B.A. in Philosophy (Logic Concentration) and Computer Science from The University of Texas at Arlington.
