James Taylor has over 30 years of work experience. James started their career as an Application Developer/Analyst at Texas Instruments in 1991. James then moved on to work as a Technical Staff at HTR, Inc. for two years, delivering consulting, training, and courseware development services. At Lotus Development Corporation (IBM), they worked as a Senior Consultant for two years, building solutions using Lotus products and focusing on industries such as travel, manufacturing, and energy.

From 1996 to 2001, James worked as a Senior Consultant at VSE Group, proposing, designing, implementing, and managing consulting engagements, with a focus on e-business application development, user interface design, and mid-tier component development. James also worked as a Staff Instructor at Southern Methodist University from 1999 to 2000, teaching courses on e-business technologies and helping launch the university's E-Commerce certificate program.

James then joined Intellinex in 2001 as a Systems Engineer, responsible for designing, developing, and supporting a web-based learning content management system. At Imagine Solutions, they worked as a Principal Consultant from 2004 to 2016, specializing in designing ECM and BPM solutions for clients. James focused on solutions involving IBM FileNet P8, IBM Case Manager, and IBM Datacap.

For the past five years, James has been working at Fiserv as a Senior Solutions Architect, specializing in designing solutions for financial services customers. James combines their expertise in banking and lending automation with Fiserv's ECM, workflow, and case management technology to help customers streamline their processes and stay competitive in a changing regulatory environment. In 2021, they joined Encapture as a Customer Success Manager.

James Taylor completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Trinity University. James attended Trinity University from 1990 to 1994. Later, James pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. James attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2017. Additionally, they earned a certification as an IBM Certified Solution Designer - Case Manager v5.1 from IBM in September 2012.
