Mala Ray

Mala Ray has extensive experience in accounting and finance. Mala began their career in 1988 as a Revenue/Cost Accountant at McDATA. In 1994, they were promoted to Cost and AP Manager at Fischer Imaging. In 2000, they were promoted again to Senior Accounting Manager (Plant Controller for Division) at Medtronic Navigation, where they were responsible for GAAP, fixed assets, cost accounting, credit, collections and SOX compliance. Mala also converted payroll from ADP to corporate shared service using Peoplesoft. In 2009, they were contracted as an Interim Accounting Manager/Asst Controller at Gambro Renal, where they were responsible for month-end closing and budgeting for a global medical technology company. In 2011, they held two temporary positions as Cost Accountant at Gates Corporation and Covidien. Since 2012, they have been the VP, Controller/Corporate Secretary &Treasurer at Encision, where they manage financial, human resources, payroll & benefits administration along with IT and facilities. Mala also provides monthly analysis of department expenditures, reviews gross margins and identifies potential issues/trends.

Mala Ray received their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Regis University in 1984. Mala then attended Front Range Community College, where they earned an Associate of Science in Accounting and Business Management.
