Frank Amato

Frank Amato has a strong background in executive positions within the pharmaceutical industry. Frank is currently serving as a Board Independent Director at EnClear Therapies since June 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of President and CEO at SYNAPS Dx since March 2020. Before SYNAPS Dx, they worked as the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Commercial Officer at electroCore, Inc. from July 2012 to September 2019. Frank also has experience at Merck, where they served as Vice President and later as Executive Director in various global business operations roles from 2006 to 2012. Additionally, they held the position of National Sales Director at Ligand Pharmaceuticals from 2005 to 2006 and at Pfizer from 2004 to 2006. Frank's career started at Pharmacia & Upjohn, Inc in 1990, where they served as the Regional Sales Director for the Hospital sector until 2003.

Frank Amato completed their BA in Political Science at St. John's University, where they studied from 1987 to 1990. Frank then pursued further education at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School from 2004 to 2005, earning an Executive MBA with a focus in Business.
