Avital Weiss

Avital Weiss, Ph.D., MBA, currently serves as the Director, Development Program Manager at Encoded Therapeutics Inc., beginning in May 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Taysha Gene Therapies, where responsibilities spanned from Associate Director to Senior Manager in Program Management, focusing on AAV-based gene therapies for central nervous system diseases. Avital Weiss has also contributed as Program Director and Advisor at Grit Bio, Inc., and as Project Manager at ImaginAb, Igentify, and Forrest Innovations, demonstrating expertise in project management and scientific leadership in biotechnology and healthcare. Avital Weiss holds a Ph.D. in Iron Metabolism from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Haifa, among other degrees in biotechnology and food engineering.
