Director, Molecular Biology of Translational Science at Encoded Therapeutics

Winnie Lin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. At Encoded Therapeutics Inc., they currently hold the position of Director of Molecular Biology of Translational Science, a role they started in February 2022. Prior to this, they served as Senior Scientist and Scientist II in the Translational Science department between October 2018 and May 2019.

I Winnie'sresearch focused on engineering in-vivo fluorescent FRET protein sensors to monitor intracellular membrane tension and characterizing a novel membrane transporter. I Winnie gained extensive experience in mammalian cell culture, microscopy, protein purification, and protein engineering during their time at Stanford.

Winnie Lin pursued their education at Stanford University from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2009, they attended National Taiwan University and completed a Master of Science (MS) in Plant Sciences.
