Winnie Lin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. At Encoded Therapeutics Inc., they currently hold the position of Director of Molecular Biology of Translational Science, a role they started in February 2022. Prior to this, they served as Senior Scientist and Scientist II in the Translational Science department between October 2018 and May 2019.
Before joining Encoded Therapeutics, Winnie worked for Audentes Therapeutics starting from September 2015. I Winnie'sroles at Audentes included Scientist, NGS, Bioanalytics, Immunology from January 2018 to October 2018, Scientist, Molecular Biology from July 2016 to December 2017, and Senior Research Associate from September 2015 to July 2016. During their time at Audentes, Winnie contributed to the development of various molecular biology techniques and assays for characterizing AAV drug substances.
Prior to their industry experience, Winnie worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Stanford University from September 2010 to September 2015. I Winnie'sresearch focused on engineering in-vivo fluorescent FRET protein sensors to monitor intracellular membrane tension and characterizing a novel membrane transporter. I Winnie gained extensive experience in mammalian cell culture, microscopy, protein purification, and protein engineering during their time at Stanford.
Overall, Winnie Lin has a strong background in molecular biology, translational science, and biotechnology, with expertise in developing assays and techniques for characterizing drug substances and studying intracellular processes.
Winnie Lin pursued their education at Stanford University from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2009, they attended National Taiwan University and completed a Master of Science (MS) in Plant Sciences.
