Julie Lai

Julie Lai has a diverse range of work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Julie began their career at Berlex Biosciences in 1989, where they worked as a QC Lead/Associate I until 2007. In 2009, they joined Exelixis as an Associate Research Scientist. After a year, they moved to 3-V Biosciences and served as a Research Associate from 2010 to 2014 before being promoted to Laboratory Manager until 2016. Since then, Julie has been with Encoded Therapeutics Inc., starting as a Laboratory Manager and progressing to the role of QC Laboratory Operations Manager. Julie has most recently held the position of Lab and Equipment Manager before being promoted to Senior Lab and Equipment Manager in March 2023.
