Computational Biology And Machine Learning at Encoded Therapeutics

Raghavendra Hosur has a diverse work experience in the fields of computational biology and machine learning. Since 2017, they have been working at Encoded Therapeutics Inc. in a computational biology and machine learning role. From 2012 to 2017, Raghavendra worked at Biogen, where they held the positions of Senior Scientist in Computational and Systems Biology and Computational Scientist in Translational Research. Prior to that, they were a Research Assistant at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL) from 2007 to 2012, where they developed algorithms for protein-protein interaction prediction and methods to predict drug-response in cancer cell lines. Raghavendra began their career as a Summer Intern at Tata Research Development and Design Center in 2004.

Raghavendra Hosur completed their education in a chronological manner. Raghavendra started their academic journey at Atomic Energy Central School, although the specific dates of their attendance and the degree obtained are unknown. Raghavendra then pursued a Btech+Mtech degree in Materials Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 2001 to 2006. Following this, they went on to pursue a PhD in Emerging, Fundamental and Computational Materials Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completing their doctorate from 2006 to 2012.
