Xiao Wang

Xiao Wang is a highly skilled engineer specializing in microfluidics, currently serving as a Staff Fluidics Engineer at Encodia, Inc. since November 2022. Previously, Xiao held positions as Head of Microfluidics and Senior Microfluidic Engineer at Hunter Biodiscovery from December 2019 to November 2022. Xiao's career also includes work as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at both Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School from June 2016 to December 2019. Xiao's research experience began as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, where significant projects included the development of inertial microfluidic devices, electrochemical impedimetric biosensors, and innovative microfluidic interfaces. Xiao earned a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2016.
