Erol Ismail's work experience begins in 2005 as a Senior Transmission Controller/Assistant Editor at Portland Enterprises. They were responsible for creating on-air slates and promos using FCP edit suites, monitoring transmission playout, and subclipping and scheduling until January 2012.

From January 2012 to May 2012, Ismail worked as a QA Transmission Media Technician at Viacom/MTV Networks International. Their main tasks included loading media onto the distribution platform, prioritizing material for play out order, and checking the quality of all material for technical compliance.

They then moved to Babcock Media Services in May 2012 and took on various roles. From May 2012 to June 2014, Ismail worked as a Service Desk Network Operator, supervising day-to-day operations and maintaining operational standards. From June 2014 to October 2017, they served as an MCR Supervisor, managing a team, providing specialist advice on service delivery and operational matters, and implementing broadcast continuity plans. Lastly, from July 2017 to October 2017, Ismail worked as an Interim MCR Manager, ensuring smooth operations and supporting the MCR team.

Currently, Ismail is employed at Encompass Digital Media, Inc. as the Head of MCR Operations starting from October 2017. In this position, they are responsible for ensuring high standards of service delivery, staff performance, and customer service. They also focus on team development, implementing department strategies, and reporting.

Erol Ismail obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Management from The Manchester Metropolitan University, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Erol also completed their 'A' Levels in Film studies, English Literature, and Media Studies at Epping Forest College in Debden, Essex. Erol Ismail received their secondary education at Wanstead High School in London, where they obtained 8 GCSEs. Additionally, Erol Ismail has obtained certifications in Conducting Motivational 1-on-1 Reviews from LinkedIn, ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice, First Line Leader Development Programme from Babcock International Group, and Level 3 Leadership and Management from ILM.
