Carey McRae

Carey McRae serves as Vice President & Associate General Counsel at Encompass Health since March 2018 and is a member of the Alabama Statewide Health Coordinating Council, appointed by the governor in June 2019. This role involves contributing to the development and revision of the Alabama State Health Plan to ensure quality healthcare access for all residents. Previously, Carey held partnership positions at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, Balch & Bingham LLP, and Adams and Reese LLP from 2000 to 2018. Educational credentials include a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University, a J.D. from The University of Alabama, and an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi.
