Demond Hawthorne

Demond Hawthorne has extensive experience in the field of taxation, currently serving as the Director of Non Income Tax at Encompass Health since March 2018. Prior to this role, Demond held various positions at HealthSouth from 2004 to the present, including Associate Tax Director, Tax Manager for Sales/Use and Property, and Tax Supervisor. Demond's career began at Saks Incorporated, where the role of Senior Tax Accountant was undertaken from September 1999 until July 2004. Demond completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at Alabama State University between 1992 and 1997.
