Gail Stewart

Gail Stewart is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in emergency preparedness and risk management. Currently serving as the Director of Quality & Risk Management at Encompass Health since January 2023, Gail previously held key roles at the Florida Department of Health, including Emergency Preparedness and Response Manager and Safety and Privacy Officer, where responsibilities included developing 16 emergency plans and collaborating with various organizations. Additional experience includes managing intelligence as an Intelligence Liaison Officer at North Florida Fusion Exchange and serving as Incident Commander for COVID-19 testing and vaccination efforts. With a robust educational background, Gail holds a Master of Arts in Homeland Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School and multiple degrees in emergency services and human resource development.
