Jay Patel

Jay Patel has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jay is currently the Head Of Product Management at Encompass Corporation, where they lead a team of Product Managers in the Know Your Customer & Anti Money Laundering domain. Prior to this, they worked at Bloomberg LP as a Real-time Data Product Manager and as the Client Data Solutions, Proposition & Product Owner for Europe & APAC. Jay played a key role in the successful build and deployment of the Entity Exchange KYC Platform and engaged with customers to gather requirements and deliver new functionality. Before their time at Bloomberg, Jay worked at Thomson Reuters, where they held various roles including Head of Product for Accelus Org ID and Program Lead for Financial Crime & Reputational Risk. Jay also served as the Head of Product Management for e-FX Treasury Portal Products. Earlier in their career, Jay worked at Thomson Financial, Reuters, Wallstreet Systems, and Cognotec in various software delivery, testing, and consultancy roles. Overall, Jay Patel has extensive experience in product management, working with compliance, risk, and legal teams, and collaborating with customers to deliver innovative solutions in the financial industry.

Jay Patel completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Industrial Systems & Business Management from the University of Westminster in 1995. Jay then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Queen Mary University of London, which they completed in 1996. In addition to their formal education, Jay has also obtained several certifications in various fields including Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Product Management from LinkedIn.
