Veronica Genao

Veronica Genao has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Veronica is currently working as a Business Development Director at Encompass Corporation, where they oversee the streamlining of KYC processes and ensures AML compliance. Prior to this, they held the position of Member at Women in Revenue, a community promoting the advancement of women in sales and marketing.

Veronica also served as the Business Development Director, Americas at SmartStream Technologies, where they were responsible for the full sales cycle of SmartStream Air, an AI data quality application. Before that, they held various sales roles at Veoci, where they contributed to the company's growth by securing new accounts and catering to the financial services and higher education sectors.

Earlier in their career, Veronica worked as a Governance Account Manager, both on the West Coast at ISS | Institutional Shareholder Services and on the East Coast at ISS | An MSCI Brand. Veronica also gained experience in investment operations as a Global Investment Operations Associate at Legg Mason.

Veronica's first professional role was as a Financial Assistance Advisor at Sacred Heart University in 2006. Their career has shown steady progression and a focus on business development, sales, and account management within the financial and technology sectors.

Veronica Genao holds a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Management from Sacred Heart University, which they completed in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Administration and Finance from the same university, starting in 2006. Veronica has also obtained several certifications, including the Enterprise GTM School certification from Pavilion in 2022, the Oxford Fintech Programme certification from the University of Oxford in 2021, the Dare to Lead Trained certification from Dare to Lead™ Trained in 2021, and the ACTIVATE: Awaken The Leader Within certification from ACTIVATE: Awaken the Leader Within in 2020.
