Sergei Chertkov

Sergei Chertkov has extensive work experience in the field of software development and product management. Sergei is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Encord since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Architect at Sustained from March 2021 to March 2023. Before that, Sergei held various roles at Twilio Inc., including Product Manager from June 2019 to March 2021, Principal Software Engineer from November 2018 to June 2019, Technical Lead from March 2017 to November 2018, and Senior Software Developer from June 2015 to March 2017.

Sergei'searlier work experience includes being a Senior Software Developer at Skype from January 2013 to May 2015 and a Software Developer (Audio/Video) at Unison Technologies from September 2011 to December 2012. Sergei also worked at the Scientific research institute or radiotechnology "Vector" as a Senior Researcher from April 2011 to September 2011 and as a Software Developer from March 2005 to April 2011.

Sergei Chertkov pursued their education in the field of Information Technologies and Instrument-making. Sergei obtained a Master's degree from ITMO University, where they studied from 2001 to 2007. Following this, Sergei continued their academic journey and completed their PhD in the same field at ITMO University from 2007 to 2010.
