Laura McHugh

Laura McHugh is an experienced Project Manager and skilled tradesperson with a strong background in scenic construction and fabrication. Since October 2016, Laura has worked with Creator International Ltd and has held various freelance roles, including Freelance Carpenter at Clockwork Scenery Ltd and Freelance Steel Fabricator for The National Theatre. Laura's expertise extends to critical functions such as exhibition build specialist at The Barbican International Exhibitions, where management of large teams for touring exhibitions occurs, and as a Freelance MIG Welder and Carpenter at Steel the Scene. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Scenic Construction from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and a Foundation degree in Design for Stage from Wimbledon School of Art.
