Akshay Saxena

Akshay Saxena has a diverse work experience in various legal and business roles. Akshay worked at Encore Capital Group from 2015 to present, starting as AVP - Legal & Business Affairs and progressing to Director, Senior Director, and now Vice President, General Counsel - India. Prior to that, they worked at Vaish Associates Advocates from 2009 to 2015, where they held positions as an Associate, Senior Associate, and Principal Associate. Akshay also worked at ManpowerGroup as a Company Secretary from 2007 to 2009 and at Asian Hotels Limited as a Management Trainee from 2005 to 2007.

Akshay Saxena obtained a FCS (Fellow of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India) degree from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India from 2002 to 2006. Akshay also completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Delhi University from 2002 to 2005, and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom Hons) degree from Delhi University from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance Management from Symbiosis Institute of Distance Learning from 2007 to 2009. In 2021, they enrolled in the ISO 31000: 2018 Risk Management Implementation Training Course at BSI Training Academy and the Certificate Course on Forensic Audit at The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
