Nissan Palacio

Nissan Palacio is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Senior Manager of Global Cyber Threat Management and Digital Forensics & Incident Response Leader at Encore Capital Group since November 2021. With a strong background in incident response, Palacio has held key positions at Sempra Energy and Barclays as a Senior Incident Response Analyst, specializing in identifying and mitigating cyber threats. From 2010 to 2014, Palacio worked at Boeing as an Incident Response Analyst, leading investigations and enhancing security protocols. Additionally, Palacio has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor in Cyber Security and Information Assurance at National University since May 2017. Early career accomplishments include serving as Director of Business Development at Syspro Innovative, where security programs and policies were developed, and IT infrastructure consulting was provided.
