James McAulay

James McAulay is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology professional with a strong background in computer science and web development. As the Co-founder and CEO of Encore Musicians since September 2014, James led the company to become a leading marketplace for live musicians, culminating in its acquisition by Mixcloud in September 2024. Previous roles include Facilitator at Decoded, where James taught coding courses to executives, and various internships in web development at organizations such as RealVNC and Amnesty International. James holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and has extensive experience in startup ventures, beginning with the founding of WhichMayBall.
