Yvette Witte

Yvette was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and is very proud of her Cuban heritage. She began her veterinary career in 2001 obtaining her Veterinary Technician license after graduating high school in 1999. She then graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Miami, and in 2014 obtained a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña in the Dominican Republic. She has also curated two different wildlife rescues, one of which was established in Fermathe, Haiti during relief efforts after the 2010 earthquake.

As a Relationship Accountant with Encore Vet Group, she aids practice leaders to navigate and understand their respective hospital finances. Her previous role, as a Practice Manager for an Encore hospital, coupled with her 20-plus years of experience in veterinary medicine brings a unique perspective to the Finance Department. She is eager to use her experience in the veterinary profession to positively impact the industry with her knowledge and skills.
