Russell Stewart

Russell Stewart has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Russell is currently the Data Services Team Lead at Encova Insurance since July 2019. Prior to that, they worked at BrickStreet Insurance where they held multiple roles including Supervisor of Actuarial Services from June 2016 onwards, and Programmer/Analyst from April 2008 until June 2016. Prior to their insurance career, Russell worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech in 2007. Russell also served as a Musical Director at The Aracoma Story, Inc. from May 2007 to July 2007.

Russell Stewart holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Marshall University from 2010 to 2011 and earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Marshall University from 2008 to 2010. Russell also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Music Technology, all obtained from Concord University from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Associate in Information Technology (AIT), Associate in Insurance Data Analytics (AIDA), Associate in General Insurance (AINS), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate.
