Tony Laska

Tony Laska is executive vice president and chief information officer of Encova, where he ensures all technology systems are running smoothly for Encova customers and partners but also he ensures staff members can interact with each other and transact business with no interruptions.

He has more than 30 years of experience in information technology in the private sector. Prior to joining BrickStreet Insurance in March 2009, Tony was an assistant vice president at Allstate Insurance Co., where he led several application development teams responsible for policy processing systems on the property and casualty side. Tony also was on the team that created Progressive’s innovative quoting system, which allows comparative pricing with other large competitors.

He started his career at Babcock & Wilcox in Lynchburg, Va., after earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in mathematics at Penn State and a Master of Arts in industrial management at Lynchburg College in Virginia. He is married with three adult children; is a private pilot; and enjoys being active with outdoor activities during all seasons.
