Hamdi Tabbaa

Hamdi Tabbaa is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in leadership and operations across various sectors. As Co-founder and CEO of Abwaab since September 2019, Tabbaa continues to drive innovation in education technology. In November 2023, Tabbaa was recognized as an Endeavor Entrepreneur. Previously, Tabbaa held multiple leadership roles at Uber from July 2015 to December 2019, including Head of Levant and Head of MENA expansion. Tabbaa founded Dukkan in 2009 and served as its CEO until 2016. Early career experience includes internships in private equity and corporate finance at firms such as Dubai International Capital and Amwal Invest. Tabbaa holds a Master's degree in Real Estate Economics & Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science, an Executive Education credential in Leadership & Strategy from Harvard Business School Online, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from King's College London, complemented by an International Baccalaureate from Amman Baccalaureate School.
