Emma Murison

Emma Murison has extensive experience in the field of industrial relations and people management. Emma most recently held the position of Head of People & Culture at Endeavour Energy (NSW), where they provided strategic advice and support on all people and industrial matters. Prior to this, Emma served as the Manager People Partnering & Industrial Relations at the same company and was responsible for leading a team in delivering commercially focused solutions.

Before joining Endeavour Energy, Emma worked at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as an Employment Lawyer and Senior Advisor Employee Relations. In these roles, they provided legal advice, managed employment-related litigation, and supported the development and implementation of enterprise agreements.

Emma also has experience working at the Workplace Authority as a Learning Advisor & Team Coach, where they developed and delivered training materials for the Fairness Test program. Emma started their career at the Department of Education, Employment, and Workplace Relations, where they served as a Workplace Relations Advisor, providing education and assistance on employment rights and obligations.

Emma Murison has a strong education background in law and business. Emma obtained a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law in 2014, following a Diploma of Law from the Legal Profession Admission Board (NSW) from 2008 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Sydney from 2000 to 2004, with a focus on Industrial Relations / HR, Government/International Relations, Advanced French, and Aboriginal Studies. In addition, Emma Murison obtained a certification as a Certified Organisational Coach, Level One from the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL) in 2022.
