Anika Nguyen

Anika Nguyen has a diverse range of work experience in the field of biomedical engineering. Anika is currently working as an R&D Project Manager at Endo Tools Therapeutics since December 2022. Prior to this, they took a sabbatical and volunteered in social projects in the Peruvian Amazonas through Alianza Arkana from January 2022 to June 2022.

Anika has also worked at Heraeus Medical Components, where they held the roles of Technical Project Lead and Senior R&D Engineer from May 2020 to December 2021, and as an R&D Engineer and SME Active Devices from February 2020 to May 2020. Before joining Heraeus, they worked at Contract Medical International GmbH as an R&D Engineer and SME Active Devices from May 2015 to May 2020.

Earlier in their career, Anika worked as a Research Assistant in Biomedical Engineering at Hospital Clínic Barcelona from September 2014 to December 2014. Anika also gained industry experience as an Engineering Intern at the Division of Medical Physics in Radiation Oncology at dkfz - German Cancer Research Center in July 2012.

Anika's research experience includes working as a Research Assistant at INNOVENT e.V. Technologieentwicklung Jena from March 2012 to August 2012, and as a Research Intern at Abbott Vascular, part of Abbott, from July 2011 to October 2011. Anika started their career as a Research Assistant at INNOVENT e.V. Technologieentwicklung Jena from February 2010 to January 2011.

Anika's early experience includes a brief research internship at Occlutech GmbH Company in September 2009.
