John McIntyre has been working in the medical device industry since 1990. John began their career at Baxter Healthcare/Edwards Lifesciences as an R&D Project Engineer in 1990, then moved up to Regulatory Affairs Project Manager in 1998. In 2000, they took on the role of Regulatory Affairs Manager at Innercool Therapies. In 2002, they were appointed VP of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs at Cardiogenesis Corporation. In 2007, they became VP of Regulatory, Quality, and Clinical Affairs at Magellan Spine Technologies. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Consultant in Regulatory/Quality/Clinical Affairs. From 2010 to 2017, they held the position of VP, RA/QA/CA at Ellipse Technologies and NuVasive, Inc. Since 2018, they have been working as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance at Vascular Dynamics.
John McIntyre received their Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from UC San Diego between 1983 and 1987. John then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Davis between 1987 and 1990.
