Michael Wynn-Williams serves as the Director of Advanced Gynaecology Auckland (AGA) Ltd Pty since September 2023 and holds the position of Lead for the Minimally Invasive Gynaecology Service at Te Whatu Ora | Te Toka Tumai Auckland since June 2020. Additionally, Michael is a Specialist Gynaecologist and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon at DRMWW LTD PTY and has been involved with the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society Limited (AGES) as Vice President and Director of Laparoscopic Anatomy Pelvic Dissection since May 2015. As a Deputy Editor for the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynaecology since June 2023 and a Board Member of the New Zealand Endometriosis Foundation Charitable Trust since October 2021, Michael actively contributes to the field. Furthermore, Michael has been part of the Medical Advisory Committee for Endometriosis Australia since 2011 and a member of the Mongolian Australian Medical Affiliation (MAMA) since May 2018. Prior roles include serving as a Fertility Specialist at Queensland Fertility Group and a Visiting Medical Officer at The Wesley Hospital. Michael graduated with an MBChB in Medicine from the University of Otago between 1989 and 1996.

Our Mission Endometriosis Australia endeavours to increase recognition of endometriosis, provide endometriosis education programs, and help fund endometriosis research. Goals *To engage in a strong awareness campaign to inform, the medical community, business, media and the public about endometriosis. *To create and provide professional, educational programs for women with endometriosis, communities, schools, healthcare professionals, businesses and individuals involved in improving health outcomes for women with endometriosis. *To represent the tens of thousands of women and girls throughout Australia that have endometriosis. *To work with those health professionals who treat the condition and with researchers working to find solutions. *To raise funds for research in Australia into the causes, treatments and ultimately prevention of endometriosis.
