Security Research at Endor Labs

Henrik Plate has extensive experience in the field of software development and security research. Henrik currently works at Endor Labs as a Security Researcher, where they focus on helping developers with security issues and promoting the adoption of safe Open Source Software. Prior to this, Plate held various roles at SAP, including Research Expert (Principal Research Scientist), Senior Researcher (Senior Research Scientist), and Researcher (Research Scientist). During their time at SAP, they led projects related to open-source security analysis and software supply chain risk exploration. Plate also contributed to the development of Eclipse Steady, an open-source project. Before joining SAP, they worked as a Software Developer at xmachina GmbH. Overall, Plate's work experience demonstrates their expertise in software development, security analysis, and OSS adoption.

Henrik Plate completed their Master's degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Mannheim, where they studied from 1993 to 1999. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in March 2010.
